The National Folk Festival is a big part of many people's lives especially for those of us on the Festival Staff. For us in the office the Festival doesn't go for 5 days it goes for 365. There is a great deal that goes on through the year.
In the past we have only been able to get information out to the world through our publications and this has sometimes lead to a large delay on some of the really exciting news. Hopefully this online journal will make the news appear a little quicker. It will also enable us to make the news a little more interesting with music, pictures and video.
We will also try to get across to you who is on the team that makes this Festival happen from the staff through to the volunteers.
